31st Annual Roy Track Memorial Mesa Pow Wow

Celebrate Arizona’s Native American heritage with a 3-day, inter-tribal gathering, October 24-26 at Pioneer Park, 525 E. Main St. There’s a free concert on Friday night from 6-10pm. Hours on Saturday are 11am-10pm; Sunday, 11am-5pm.   Events on Saturday and Sunday include Native American dance competitions, crafts, and food vendors. Presented by Visit Mesa. Trick-or-Treat on Main Street

Downtown Mesa Association and participating businesses will be hosting Trick – or – Treat on Main Street on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 11am-2pm. Free goodie bags maps for participating businesses will be provided at the check-in booth on the southeast corner of Main Street and Center by the Mesa Arts Center. Old West Fest

Don’t need to head down to Tombstone….just mosey on over to the Old West Fest onNovember 8, 2014 from 10am-5pm. Located at 129 W. Main Street, Downtown Mesa, this community-centered event showcases Mesa’s rich pioneer and territorial history. There’ll be gun fights, stagecoach and pony rides, BBQ, live music, and plenty of fun for all the lil’ pardners out there. Admission is free. http://mesaoldwestdays.com/

Flash Park Fridays

Recurring on the 3rd Friday of each month, Flash Park Fridays invite you to come hang out and have some fun as local businesses in Downtown Mesa (Main Street and Macdonald) transform the front of their locations into “parks” for the evening. Check out their creativity and participate in the activities they have to offer. You can also join in a scavenger hunt and win prizes! Food, beverages, and live music round out the festivities. Mark you calendars for every 3rd Friday so you don’t miss this lively, monthly event.
