Commercial real estate Our commercial real estate agents do enjoy the work they do, but they also take pleasure in spending time with their family and friends – just like you! On that note, our commercial real estate team wants to share some Thanksgiving events around the valley that may inspire you to celebrate this holiday a little differently.

Friendsgiving Party, November 25th

Start your Thanksgiving weekend at Kelly’s at SouthBridge in Scottsdale for its fourth annual Friendsgiving Party. Before the family gathers and football games begins, enjoy your Friendsgiving at Kelly’s with a pie eating contest, music and more.

The Phoenician’s Annual Turkey Trot, November 26th

Jog, trot, stroll, or run at this non-competitive race around a scenic golf course. Locals are welcome to attend for a $20 fee. 50% of the proceeds go to the International Rescue Committee. All ages are invited. The event starts at 8 a.m. at the Jokake Inn. Check-in starts at 7 a.m. Call 480-423-2530 to register.

If you want a more challenging race, check out this one:

Mesa Turkey Trot, November 26

This Turkey trot offers a few different races – a competitive 10-k is a professionally timed event, a non-competitive 2-Mile Fun Run, or the 1-Mile Fitness Walk. Proceeds benefit non-profits in the east valley – primarily focused on the disabled and underprivileged in the community. Location – Red Mountain Park, 7745 E. Brown Road, Mesa.

Volunteer Opportunities Thanksgiving Week

As many commercial real estate properties as there are here, there are as many charities who need your help the week of Thanksgiving. From boxing food, to delivering meals, the opportunities are many. Some of the charities that need your help this year are: Salvation Army, St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, St. Vincent De Paul, and United Food Bank (Mesa). One way to easily search all volunteer options throughout the valley is through this site –

We hope these events give you some ideas as to how you’d like to celebrate your Thanksgiving. Our commercial real estate agents at Menlo are grateful for you–our clients–and that we are able to contribute to our growing business community. We wish you and yours a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday!
